Welcome to the Visual Computing Group's website at Portland State University. Visual Computing is a subdomain of computer science that develops algorithmic techniques to make sense of visual data. We conduct research on a wide range of topics related to computer vision, image, video and multimedia processing, computer graphics and rendering, computational photography, computational imaging, augmented and virtual reality and data visualization. We are part of the Computer Science Department in the Maseeh College of Engineering at Portland State University.
